HOW WE STARTED
COMPANY HISTORY
PCI Engineering Ltd. was established in 2019 to provide locally focused, technically grounded engineering support to clients across Northern British Columbia and Alberta. The company’s origins trace back to 2017, when founder Jesse Logeman, then an engineer with Spectra Energy in Fort St. John, recognized a consistent challenge among operators — the need for responsive, regionally based engineering services that understood field realities and operational priorities.
This insight led to the creation of PCI Engineering Ltd., a firm built on the principle that engineering support should be both technically rigorous and practically deliverable. By combining local presence with industry experience, PCI offers efficient, cost-effective solutions that align with the specific needs of energy, oil and gas, and industrial clients in the Peace Region and beyond.
Since inception, PCI Engineering has grown from a single-engineer operation into a trusted service provider known for its mechanical systems expertise, field-driven approach, and commitment to timely, hands-on support. The company continues to expand its capabilities to meet the evolving requirements of Western Canada’s industrial and municipal infrastructure sectors.

JESSE LOGEMAN
OWNER
PCI Engineering Ltd is fully owned and operated by Jesse Logeman. After graduating from high school in Fort St John BC, Jesse took up an Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship working at local automotive dealerships. Once Jesse had completed his apprenticeship, he decided to join the booming natural gas industry in the Fort St John area as a compression mechanic for a term of over 5 years.
After starting a family, Jesse decided to go back to school for mechanical engineering with the long-term vision of providing a more stable family life. After graduating from the University of British Columbia with distinction, Jesse started a full-time position at Spectra Energy as an Operations Engineer. Jesse held multiple roles at Spectra Energy, soon thereafter Enbridge, over his 3-year term including his most recent role as a Rotating Equipment Engineer for the Enbridge’s Discipline Engineering group. Jesse most recently completed a year and a half term at Pacific Northern Gas in Fort St John, where he gained valuable project management experience.
Jesse’s combination of trades and engineering education and experience gives him a unique combination of practical and theoretical knowledge.
